Moving to Thailand? Read this first

I recently ran across a great little guide for those of you who maybe looking into moving to Thailand. Jason Lee is the Author who I had the chance to visit with and I told him I would mention his ebook. It is titled, The Ultimate Guide to Moving to Thailand, Living in Bangkok. Here is an excerpt:

Excerpt: For those of you out there who have not been to Thailand before, I am not exaggerating when I say that if you first arrive in the beaches of Thailand it rings of a paradise. Stay here in Koh Samui, Phuket or any of 20 or more famous and extraordinary beaches, just one day, enjoy the beautiful sunset, and you will not want to leave.
Okay so we both know the truth is vacations are vacations and at least for most of us we still have to work. So again, this book is intended to give the expat a REALISTIC look at what it truly like living and working in Bangkok. How feasible is it? How does one do it? What the customs? Etc, etc.

So let’s get down to it. Living conditions for tourists or expats are comfortable enough to let you feel like you are at home or even better. These days most housing is being built to western standards and ALMOST everything you had in home country you can find here.

When it comes to housing, obviously the higher the price the more you get as far as amenities and accommodations and obviously location drives price as well. First tip I will give you is one you will be glad you followed, as long as you do follow it. Find a place, at least at first close to the BTS station. DO NOT RENT A PLACE BEFORE YOU GET HERE. There are TONS of available condos and if you come from abroad you almost always pay more than if you rent once you arrive and after viewing your condo.

The guide is actually on the Amazon best seller list for Bangkok and so it’s been well received commercially and it’s up-to-date having been written in 2013; for just $2.99 you really can’t go wrong. Anyway here is a link to give it a look:
