Private Placement Program opportunities are prevailing once again. These “invite-only” trading programs for financial instruments (more often than not MTN’s) are offered by the banks, yet such opportunities are only available via a small number of specialist Trader’s globally. These buy/sell programs revolve around instruments that are first bought by the Trader for their nominal value less a significant discount, which then sold afterwards for a higher price in the secondary market. The difference between the selling price and the purchase price is the profit of the supplier/investor. These programs are offered only to customers with high purchasing power and such transactions may only be carried out by licensed Traders. Most of the revenues are always used to finance humanitarian or social purposes yet also a serious contribution to business projects too.
