Owned and managed by Mr. Romeo M. Balbin, the Balbin’s Furniture was established in 1986, which was registered with DTI as a single proprietorship in the same year. The factory is strategically located at Dangdangla-Bacsil, Bangued, Abra while the showroom is based at Zone 5, Bariquir, Bangued, Abra.

The firm produces furniture products such as wood dining sets, living room sets, door panels, cabinets, doors, door jambs, coffee tables, office tables, moldings, narra planks for flooring with dimensions ranging from 1”6”x7’, 1”x8”x7’, 1”x10”x7’ to 1”x12”x7’, wood tiles with ½”x4”x12” and other furniture products from narra, molave, gmelina, acacia and mahogany wood. Other products include serving trays, placemats, trays, coasters, hot pads, umbrella stands, tiles, and others using readily available local materials in the province such as bamboo, reeds and hapao. It supplies the domestic market and exporters to USA, Italy, and Canada.

There are 15 workers in the carpentry section, 4 workers in the finishing section, in addition to the 3 family members in the marketing, production, and administrative sections. The firm also benefits 900 sub-contractors who serve as weavers for the bamboo, reeds and hapao products and raw material suppliers.
